Contributed to the design and development of our data analysis platform - alambeek. This involves the understanding, usage and / or implementation of data related concepts which include,
• flow-based programming
• serverless architectures
• distributed / service oriented architecture
• reactive programming

Software development activities include participation in the full technology stack with emphasis on,
• Building a web based data analysis workspace (Angular 4, Typescript) connected to a RESTful API (Play Framework, Scala) to control the backend flow engine
• Extending the flow engine (Apache Nifi, Scala) to distribute data processing and to use custom data storage
• Integrating authentication, authorization and user managed access (Keycloak) to secure the web application
• Developing self-contained, schema independent processing nodes (Scala) to be deployed on a service oriented architecure (Apache Zookeeper, Apache Karaf, Apache CXF)
• Assisting in operations related to continuous integration (Jenkins, Gitlab, Docker)
